NEW YORK – November 16, 2011—  The Whittier College men’s lacrosse team is the latest NCAA Division III program to sign a multi-year equipment deal with Maverik Lacrosse.  The Poets, under the direction of third-year head coach Brian Kelly, are the first and only NCAA sanctioned men’s lacrosse program in Southern California. The Poets will use custom Maverik equipment and practice apparel throughout the 2012 lacrosse season.
